Today, a meeting of the Council of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of the Aidar Settlement Military Administration, Starobilsk District, Luhansk Region, took place.
During the meeting, a number of important issues were discussed, including the renewal of the Council’s composition in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine.
Maryna Bohun, founder of the Grow Up Foundation and the social enterprise Love Rises, was once again appointed as a member of the updated Council.
The Council includes internally displaced persons living in Ukraine, representatives of public organizations whose activities are aimed at ensuring and protecting the rights of IDPs and implementing social projects within the Aidar community, as well as veterans and military personnel.
The personal composition of the Council is approved by order of the Head of the Aidar Military Administration.
The Council will continue to work on issues of support, integration, and protection of the rights of internally displaced persons in the Luhansk region throughout 2026.
Maryna Bohun:
“It is important for me to understand the real needs of internally displaced persons through direct interaction within the Council.
Our experience from previous years has shown how effective cooperation between communities, authorities, and active IDP representatives can be.
This is not only about protecting rights — it is about building new opportunities for growth, recovery, and a dignified life for our people.”
