Since 2022, Grow Up NGO has had a reliable friend and partner in Germany — the charitable organization Jürgen Wahn Stiftung e.V., which has supported our projects for children and families from Luhansk since the very first days of the war.
Recently, our founder Maryna Bohun visited Soest (Germany) to personally thank our partners for their long-standing support. During the visit, several important meetings took place:
🤝 With the Board of Jürgen Wahn Stiftung — we discussed the stories of displaced families who lost their homes twice, and the joint steps of support we have been taking together since 2022.
🎾 With Wilhelm and Heide Brinkkötter — well-known in Soest for their active community engagement. They initiated a charity tennis tournament, with all proceeds directed to the projects of Grow Up NGO.
🎙️ Interviews with local radio and press — another opportunity to share about the work of our team and the Love Rises project as an example of women’s resilience, economic independence, and strength.
